Though it's normal to experience mild bleeding, swelling, and soreness following implant surgery, your risk of infection is low when you choose an experienced and skilled dental surgeon like Dr. Stragier. Be sure to follow all post-operative instructions to prevent infection, as this can lead to implant failure or your implants not fusing to the bone.
While the All-on-4 method is less invasive than traditional implant surgery, there are some simple things you can do to make your recovery easier.
Get Some Rest
Dr. Stragier recommends that you take about a week off work following your procedure. You should take this time to rest and avoid any strenuous exercise or physical activity.
