Dr. Daniel E. Stragier
Daniel E. Stragier, DDS, is a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, and he has been a practicing dentist in San Diego since 1985.
Dr. Stragier is an active member of the San Diego Implant Study Club and the Academy of General Dentistry. To ensure you receive the best treatment during your visit to our Clairemont dental office, Dr. Stragier treats every patient at Balboa Dental Care personally.
Dr. Stragier can perform most procedures including dental implant placement without referrals or the help of outside specialists. If you have a complex surgical, periodontal, or orthodontic case that Dr. Stragier cannot treat himself, he will coordinate your treatment with one of his trusted colleagues in San Diego.
A resident of Ocean Beach, Dr. Stragier spends his spare time hiking, riding motorcycles, sailing, scuba diving, gardening, and taking his rescue dogs to the dog beach.

3D Cone Beam Radiography
Balboa Dental Care uses cone beam computed tomography to produce detailed 3D images of your teeth, nerves, and bone structure so that he can pinpoint issues that may not appear on a two-dimensional X-ray. Digital X-Rays
Our practice uses digital X-rays as a starting point for diagnosing any dental issues that are developing below the surface of your smile. Dental Lasers
Laser dentistry allows Dr. Stragier to effectively treat a range of conditions with fewer side effects and shorter recovery times. Lasers can address mild to moderate gum disease, eliminate a gummy smile during gum contouring, and can even be used to brighten stained or discolored teeth. Since lasers sterilize and cauterize, patients experience less bleeding and a lower risk of infection post-treatment.
